Baby Apron or "Bapron"

I found this cute little pattern here. I thought these would be perfect for a Christmas gift for a wee little one on my list.  These are for my BIL's girlfriend's grandson.

These were very easy to make.  I did make one adjustment though.  She suggests turning in the ends of the bias for the piece that goes around the arm section and the piece that goes around the bottom up to the top.  Both of those will be enclosed by more bias, so I left them raw.  If you turn them under, it creates more bulk, and the finish isn't as clean.  Since I used store bought bias, I turned in my ends on the ties, where she leaves them raw and uses fray check.

I think these will be perfect for the little guy!

  1. I can't believe how cute these are! And with the bias around the arms, they'll actually stay in place. I think this is something else I'm going to have to make for Christmas - some for the baby and some a little larger for his 2 yo brother. And some for my 1 yo granddaughter. Thanks for posting the link.

    1. Thank you Mary. They were super easy. I think they would be super cute with a monogram or embroidery. Can't wait to see yours. Happy Thanksgiving!
